Healthcare educators, clinicians, researchers, technicians and simulation practitioners are invited to attend SIMFEST 2026, a conference focused on advancing excellence in simulation-based education. Taking place at Keele University on 3 September 2026, the event will explore how simulation can be used to improve educational quality, strengthen human connection, and promote interprofessional learning and collaboration. The conference programme includes keynote presentations, oral presentations, workshops, poster sessions and industry-led demonstrations covering a wide range of simulation topics across healthcare education. Themes include psychological safety, quality improvement, interprofessional education, technology-enhanced learning and innovative approaches to simulation practice. A keynote address will be delivered by Dr Prabhjoyt Kler, Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia at University Hospitals North Midlands, who will discuss her journey from challenging clinical encounters to simulation-based education. The event offers a valuable opportunity to learn from experts across multiple professions, discover current research and best practice, explore emerging simulation technologies, and network with colleagues from across the healthcare and education sectors. London Imaging Academy, Society and College of Radiographer accredited Intravenous Cannulation and Contrast Administration course.This course is open to NHS Greater London staff working in Imaging who require skills in intravenous (IV) cannulation and/or administration of IV medicines as part of their role.

The Joint London Diagnostic Radiology Radiation Protection Supervisor Programme is a collaborative course developed by Medical Physics departments in and around London to provide high‑quality RPS training in an online format. The programme combines pre‑course e‑learning with a live online training day featuring lectures, interactive workshops in small breakout groups, and opportunities for discussion with RPAs. The course covers the core competences for Radiation Protection Supervisors as defined in HSE Ionising Radiations Report No. 6 and is delivered by experienced Radiation Protection Advisers and Clinical Scientists. Pre‑course learning is accessed via e‑Learning for Healthcare (e‑LfH) and is expected to take around three hours. At NWEITA, we've developed a series of educational videos tailored specifically for sonographers, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals working across various imaging modalities. We recognise that traditional training often provides limited exposure to clinical medicine, leaving many to rely on self-directed study using standard medical texts. Our video series is designed to bridge that gap. Taking a systems-based approach, we aim to strengthen clinical understanding and connect medical knowledge with imaging practice.
