Healthcare educators, clinicians, researchers, technicians and simulation practitioners are invited to attend SIMFEST 2026, a conference focused on advancing excellence in simulation-based education. Taking place at Keele University on 3 September 2026, the event will explore how simulation can be used to improve educational quality, strengthen human connection, and promote interprofessional learning and collaboration.
The conference programme includes keynote presentations, oral presentations, workshops, poster sessions and industry-led demonstrations covering a wide range of simulation topics across healthcare education. Themes include psychological safety, quality improvement, interprofessional education, technology-enhanced learning and innovative approaches to simulation practice.
A keynote address will be delivered by Dr Prabhjoyt Kler, Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia at University Hospitals North Midlands, who will discuss her journey from challenging clinical encounters to simulation-based education.
The event offers a valuable opportunity to learn from experts across multiple professions, discover current research and best practice, explore emerging simulation technologies, and network with colleagues from across the healthcare and education sectors.
