We will process your information in accordance with the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018).

We are collecting / processing personal data about you for the following purposes:

The information we will collect includes:

  • Your contact details (name and email address)
  • If you work for a London NHS Trust – details about your role & personal details (hospital, job title, band, ethnicity)
  • If you do not work for a London NHS Trust – details about your job and location (job title, company, city/town and country)

The legal bases for this processing are:

  • Where we process your personal data, we use Article 6(1)( e ): exercise of official authority
  • Where we process special categories of your personal data, including any revealing racial or ethnic origin, we use Article 9(2)( h ): management of a health or social care service and Article 9(2)( g ): reasons of substantial public interest (with a basis in law). The basis in law is set out at paragraph 8 of Part 2, Schedule 1 to the DPA 2018, ‘Equality of opportunity or treatment’.

We collect your personal data for this purpose from:

  • The new user registration process via londonimagingacademy.org.uk 

Your personal data is received and used by:

  • The London Imaging Academy project team in NHS England 

Accipio Digital Ltd has been contracted to host the learning management system website. This organisation is acting as a data processor on our behalf.

Your information will be stored in line with NHS England’s retention schedule, which can be accessed here.

Accessing your personal information or make a request relating to other rights

Requests to access to your personal data, or invoke your other rights under the UK GDPR, may be made in writing or by speaking to us. All requests will be recorded, and you may need to provide information to verify your identity and enable us to locate the information, including:

  • Full name, address, date of birth, proof of identity and address
  • An indication of what information you are requesting to enable us to locate this in an efficient manner.
